Looks like some of the manufactures that we represent are jumping on the stimulus bandwagon. One of them is the geothermal manufacturer that we work with.
We just got one of our clients over 10K in refunds, rebates and credits. Looks like we can get them even more now since we are a Waterfurnace dealer. Just got our geothermal newsletter and it looks like they will get an additional 2K back from the manufacturer in addition to the 2K from the feds and 2K from the state. Yes- that is 6K total. Not bad since this this particular system outperforms standard efficiency HVAC by over 200%! Better efficiency along with the great rebates and you do not have any more excuses for not going green now.

We are pleased to announce the WaterFurnace Stimulus Package. The WaterFurnace Stimulus Package is a rebate program open to WaterFurnace customers who own and enjoy WaterFurnace equipment that is ten years old or newer. Sell a new Envision system before March 31, 2009 and the homeowner will receive a $2,000 rebate directly from WaterFurnace. The WaterFurnace Envision system qualifies for a federal tax credit equal to 30% of installation costs, homeowners can earn you up to an additional $2,000 (If Congress lifts the current cap of $2,000, the homeowner’s credit could be greater).
Stimulus Package Rules and Details
- Any WaterFurnace unit built starting January 1, 1999 qualifies for a $2,000 rebate direct from WaterFurnace. Qualifying units have serial numbers that begin with the letters “P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, and Y.”
- Dealers will buy the units, as they normally do, no change in procedure or price.
- When the dealer sells and installs a unit under the program, the dealer will fill out the bottom half of the Rebate Form, sign it, and give it to the homeowner. Your signature is authorization for WaterFurnace to invoice you for your half of the rebate.
- The homeowner will fill out the top portion of the rebate certificate and mail it to the corporate address listed on the form or fax it to customer service.
- That fax will cue Dave Waterman to remove the old unit from the warranty base and to bill the dealer’s account for $1,000 under open account, which is the dealers’ half of the rebate.
- Dave will then give the form to Accounts Payable to issue a rebate check to the homeowner.
- The program will last 60 days; it begins February 1st and ends on March 31st.
- Homeowners should expect their rebate within 60 days.
